What are your breakfast items??
Kaylene is awesome!!! my favorite coffee shop in all of Gettysburg!! highly recommend
MoreI stop here every morning that Iβm in town. The food is delicious. The coffee awesome. The service great. Artsy and warm decor. Note that with the exception of Narnia and Hawaii, all the clocks are local times :)βThink Locallyβ
MoreQuaint adorable little cafe. Loved it
Very good chai tea. Friendly staff!
Great local spot. Me and my 18 mo old enjoyed our breakfast. We shared the bacon, egg and cheese bagel, and a fruit and oat parfait. The upstairs was full of toys, so he just went to town while I enjoyed my coffee. Perfect start- for the both of us. ; )
MoreSo friendly. Great food. Beautiful patio.
The place & atmosphere is great but the smoothie (a Bruiser) sucked. No flavor whatsoever, lots of froth. I guess if you like bland smoothies, go here!
MoreGreat coffee and really liked the atmosphere. Food menu was a bit limited for breakfast, but for a quick sandwich it is perfect. I will definitely be back.
MoreOutstanding, quiet, very capable coffee shop. Always cheerful staff.
I had an amazing vanilla latte at the Great American Outdoor Show!!! Hopefully next year you are able to get a better location where everyone can see you better!!! You deserve a booth in a more lighted area!!! And a big sign that says COFFEE!!
MoreGreat little local coffee shop. Funky local artwork available for purchase, nice selection of varietal coffees and designer teas. Pastries and other baked goods, light bites and sandwiches. They were rocking out to the Grateful Dead both times that I visited, and that is ALWAYS a plus in my book! Certainly better than any chain coffee shop could ever hope to be
MoreKind staff.Amazing coffee, amazing desserts!Beautiful art.Nice atmostphere.
Nice place for a good sandwich, unusual choices, tasty. A bit pricy though
Having a bacon, egg, and cheddar on a sundried bagel along with a large latte. Delicious! Love the place. Great atmosphere in close proximity to the town square.
MoreGreat location with outdoor seating. Dog-friendly. Perfect for a leisurely breakfast. Quick options available too. The egg, Swiss and tomato bagel sandwich was good, as was the coffee. Cold brew available.
MoreNice little coffee place. Good Americano and local art.
Such a great spot. Love their chai tea latte and lunch menu. And their oatmeal is amaze-balls!!!
MoreVery pleasantly surprised. Breakfast was delicious. Myself and kids had the sausage, Egg and swiss on an English muffin while hubby had the baked oatmeal which was incredible.
MoreFirst visit to Gettysburg and was recommended this coffee shop. In the end, it was a mixed response, i liked my drink, my girlfriend didn't like hers too much. I'd go back to avoid big chains but I'd probably look for another coffee shop first. Not bad, good enough.
MoreAlways a good experience at the Ragged Edge! This is a quality operation, even better because it's a locally owned and operated business. I'm a local and have been here plenty of times but the past two trips were the reason for the review. While you can always get a good cup of coffee here, the Snickerdoodle Latte was a perfect start to a day! Not too sweet with the right amount of cinnamon. The other special drink was a smoothie that I unfortunately don't remember the name of... but it had blueberries, Earl Grey tea, maybe some lavender, and other magic that could not possibly be described. Yes. Stop in for a great experience, and if the weather is nice be sure to take advantage of the back patio!
MoreCatering menu Compared to regular menu was not clear. Mediterranean salad was not available as it was on at the catering menu , which was not clear. Tried to order the chickpea and cucumber salad but they were out of Chickpeas, which was the main part the salad. Interaction with cashier was very awkward. Food was sub par. The ragged edge club had sub par lunch meat on it and my fiance's chicken Pesto sandwich, the "82" was just a chicken breast slapped on a pita bread. Salad was old on the sandwich and over all unappealing.
MoreAMAZING. Clerks were very friendly, helpful and just acted like they loved their job. Definitely worth stopping in if you r in the area. Very cute place w a good selection of coffee, beverages and baked goods. Made local and Sold here. They also had outside seating regular and pet friendly. Very cool.
MoreBarista was a little snippy about mask wearing but coffee was amazing as usual! π will definitely be back! Love this place!
MoreGood atmosphere, loved seeing lots of books and some from local authors. Only issue was that our bagels were swapped on sandwiches, so we didn't get what we ordered. Besides that issue, was a good place for a quick bite
MoreGreat everything bagels and good coffee!
Tasty coffee! Visited every morning during our stay in the area.
Best coffee shop in Gettysburg
Love! The little girly that waited on us,Elaina, was a ray of sunshine.Cute place, friendly ppl
MoreDrinks and food were excellent! Service was fast and the environment was cool!
Good coffee shop in an old house. Great space with lots of art and books. Popular with the college crowd. Great coffee and great location.
MoreGreat coffee and service
We were in Gettysburg for less than desirable reasons in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, during the week that the courts were open but the hotels were not. Ragged Edge was open early on a rainy Thursday morning, and was one of the things that made the trip feel unexpectedly nice. Service was fast. Breakfast sandwiches were a cut above. Frozen hot chocolate at 8:00 AM was a huge hit with an 11-year-old.
MoreFast service. We ordered the baked oatmeal, with strawberries, banana and blueberries with steamed milk. Never had anything like it before. Pouring the steamed milk over the baked oatmeal was really nice. I would eat it again. Bagel was nicely toasted. Drinks were good.
MoreNice, quaint atmosphere. Good food. Friendly staff. Great place to snack n chat!Great courtyard for summer fun
MoreLovely space ti meet up with friends. Good Coffees.
The Ragged Edge Coffee House is a true gem! They have a great selection of quality hot and cold caffeine drinks. Their baked goods are deeeelicious, so much so that upon a return trip to the area I special ordered a loaf of their banana bread to take home. They even offer smoothies for those looking for a healthy option. The staff are super cool and nice. The house they converted into a coffee shop offers many seating options for enjoying your drink and/or food -- from the front porch where you can people watch, to the magical-looking garden area in the backyard. The interior is super spacious with seating on the main level and upstairs. Definitely worth the stop for a treat while you are in town.
MoreI got the special breakfast sandwich of the day which came on a sun-dried tomato bagel with crab dip. It was fantastic. The English muffins were homemade and amazing. The lattes were great as well.
MoreA word of caution: They use soy milk. I wasn't aware until after I'd ordered that they didn't have dairy milk, and while that's not an issue for me, my husband can't have more than a little soy at a time. I feel like that needs to be better communicated up front - I didn't see a sign or anything, and only happened to overhear another customer ask for skim and get told they only have one kind of soy. My chai was a bit watery (probably because of the milk) but service was quick.
MoreCheck out the back if it's a nice day out
Nice inside and out. Staff is friendly, very helpful with a vegan diet and knew what to look for on their products. Got an avocado spinach tomato sandwich with a hot chocolate with almond milk and a vegan caramel flavored iced coffee
MoreI love visiting the Ragged Edge. I love the atmosphere of the place ever since it had started out. The drinks are wonderful, but the staff taking orders aren't very pleasant. I was waiting on the girl to take my order and she ended up taking the woman behind me first. Then she didn't even greet me. She looked miserable and then she didn't even say "have a nice day" after I said thank you for my order. Not very good customer service. Otherwise, I love this place
MoreLove the local art on the wall! The Food was perfect and the service friendly!
Baked oatmeal and a large latte are a great breakfast. The space upstairs is good for studying or getting work done.
MoreExcellent little coffee shop with well brewed coffees and a nice selection of small bites. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Great porch to sit on and relax. Nice artwork to enjoy inside.
MoreI've been coming here every year for a convention in town and I will never NOT stop here. The veggie hummus wrap, the 82, and Nutty Jasper are all highly recommended and my go-to!!! I can't wait to go back next year!
MoreGreat coffee and excellent food! The ragged club was incredible. Fresh ingredients and delicious bread. Thank you so much!
MoreVery cool almost posh like setting with a nice variation of coffee and other beverages to choose from.
MoreOrginally came for the apple pie, listed as top spot on google. They have a apple crumble, nothing special. Maybe if it was fresh it would be ok.Sloooow service....had to ask twice about 2 seperate items.
MoreFriendly. Good coffee. Lots of locals. Choose this place over corporate coffee.Nice atmosphere.
More09/07/2019Friendly folks, good prices, and full-bodied coffee. I've never tried anything else on the menu, but the few times I've been here to have coffee, I've always enjoyed it. I'll have to make a point to stop in when I'm hungry next time to try a sandwich.
